The word boudoir itself derives from a French word which means a woman’s private salon or dressing room. Boudoir photography is defined as the capturing of images of a woman in an intimate environment like a bedroom. However, a boudoir photoshoot is so much more than that. It’s the opportunity to remind you that you are beautiful, fearless, and capable of doing amazing things. It’s the opportunity to see yourself in a way you’ve never seen yourself before. To embrace and celebrate all of you. Right now. NO conditions. My goal is to help you (re)gain a priceless confidence, and appreciate your beautiful, imperfect, unique body through the experience of boudoir.
If you are here it means you are already interested in boudoir but aren’t exactly sure if you are ready to take the leap just yet. Am I right? The majority of my clients have never done anything like this before, which means I will never expect you to walk in the door knowing what to do. I am here to guide you through the entire process. Before the photo shoot I will call you, send you the Prep Guide and we will discuss your ideas & styling options. During the photo shoot I will direct everything. I don’t expect you to know posing, that’s my job :) My priority is calming nerves and making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Finally, after the photo shoot we will look through all of your images together at your Reveal Meeting. I am here to help with everything!
Each session is catered to your personality and style. The vibe can range from sweetly delicate to fiercely sexy, depending on what you are looking for. The photo shoot experience is just as important as the final product you go home with. When you look back at these photos 20 years from now I want you to remember this time in your life and how amazing you felt.
A boudoir session is for EVERY woman. My clients are not models. They are every day women including stay at home moms, teachers, nurses, doctors, grandmothers, and more. Busy women who decided to step out of their comfort zone and do something for themselves beyond the usual manicure and pedicure.
I shoot mostly in my home studio, boutique hotels or I travel to the client’s home. Many clients enjoy the photoshoot from the comfort of their own home.
I do not offer hair & makeup but professional hair & makeup service is strongly encouraged.
I NEVER use photos for marketing or any other reason without your explicit written permission. Never. When you work with me you tell me how I can use your images, if at all. A lot of my amazing ladies want their photos to be kept private and I completely respect that.
YES I do and I love it! COUPLES BOUDOIR is more than photography, it’s an art of getting close to each other. It is a wonderful way to celebrate your relationship & a great reminder of the intimacy that you share. Celebrate each other and give your relationship a long lasting gift.
You will receive a list of suggestions on our first consultation call. Not a lingerie type of girl? No worries! YOU should always wear what is your style. There are plenty of options if lingerie is not your thing — a simple white cami, sport jersey, cozy sweater, leather jacket or a sexy black dress? So many options for your perfect shoot! I also have a small props collection that you can use to enhance your own wardrobe. I got you ♥
No, sorry. Only the person getting photographed is allowed on premises during the entire experience. The only exception is for couple’s sessions or bridal party where all clients are getting photographed.
If you want fully nude shots, implied nudity is our go-to. You wear as much or as little as you would like. I will respect your decision on how much you want to expose. I am flexible and will work with you to capture a variety of images during your shoot. I will never pressure you or ask you to do anything that makes you uncomfortable.
